Get A New Guide Provider!

The data on the guide is wrong again and no one at verizon is doing anything about it! To continue to disregard or not even acknowledge the issues where people at a company do not do what they are supposed to do is something that is worthy of taking legal action because enough is enough! Your guide provider by the way is also the guide provider of At&t and they too have the incorrect data issues that verizon cutomers are having. That company needs to be called out for not doing their job and i have personally spoken to the people at that company who are reponsible for what appears on verizon's guide where they have admitted to me that they are at times overwhelmed by what it is that they are being paid to do. Their job is to not only make sure that the guide for the two providers that i just mentioned are accurate but they are also responsible for the guides of foreign countries too. Now i have been in direct contact with them and i have been doing the jobs of the verizon employees for them where ideally it should be a specific group that is in your own company that should be doing it. Also from what i have been told even if a customer creates a ticket and it gets to the proper group that can correct a probem with the guide it is ultimately the guide provider who decides if they are going to make the necessary changes to update the data or not. As i said before they have confided to me that they feel overwhelmed and that their job at times may be too much for them so i highly recommend that you switch to a more competent guide provider while at the same time putting the necessary pressure on them to get the issues that exist right now corrected. There is a long history of tickets that i have had created for not only me but for the benefit of other customers who have had similar issues with the guide. If you were to take a look at them or submit them again then maybe things might start to get corrected but i will not hold my breath. Once again i would like to suggest to you that if nothing changes soon people will drop you for their service because your guide provider is making you guys look really bad.

The only one making Verizon look bad is Verizon. Verizon is responsible. No one else.  Neither I, nor anyone else pays the guide company.  Verizon hired them, pays them and is responsible for the results.  The results are horrible and it is Verizon's fault plain and simple.   There have been more complaints on this site about the guide than any other issue and the complaints have been going on longer than any other issue. Yet Verizon does absolutely nothing to fix it.

I would like to know myself what happens now after all of this feedback has been provided by a substantial majority of us customers who aren't happy with the new graphics display.  It's not the most important thing in the world and I don't even care if a program listing or description is wrong.  The graphics are hard on your eyes and so many of us have voiced our complaints about it, so I just would like to know what happens now. 

I guess time will tell.  I'm not switching providers over that but is Verizon taking into account our feedback and taking steps to improve the TV guide listing display?
