How is it that I have read MANY accounts of people getting upgraded DVRs (and I can see several other models) yet I am told there is no such thing that isn't multi-room for more $$??

So there is a web page for DVR upgrade but, 2, 3, 4 Verizon staff members I have spoken to repeatedly told me there is no such thing?

It's like dealing with the cliche' used car salesman..."those tires aren't bald, they're racing tires" LOL

oh wow...and $39.99 each...just to get adequate and functioning DVRs...I guess my real surprise should be that I am surprised at all...thanks anyway for the reply.
