Verizon has failed to come through for another entire hockey season, but I guess tonight is the last overflow game this spring. All playoff games are shown nationally by the NBC group, but regional channels still have the first round within their regions. The Islanders should have MSG+ to themselves since the Devils are out.

Is the last MSG channel finally coming for this season? The first Devils game on MSG+2 is Friday.

Found this thread and figured this is the place. I find it a bit ridiculous that Fios does not carry MSG+2 in HD. It is the only local providor that does not do so. Both Cablevision and Time Warner have this channel in HD.
With the increased popularity of streaming media one of the few reasons I still subscribe to cable is easy access to local sports teams. I would love to hear a reason why only Fios does not give you a local sports channel in HD.

Well, it's now 2016 and still a winning major league professional sports team's broadcast is only available in SD on FIOS. Any update?
