Now that the lockout is over, what's the status with NHL Center Ice on FIOS? According to this page, it's getting HEAVILY discounted on other providers, but I haven't heard anything about the pricing on FIOS. I did the whole online chat with a representative thing and they were basically useless. If it's going at full price, I'm definitely going to ditch it and get NHL Gamecenter since I can use that for MUCH cheaper this season.

Even if they haven't announced it yet, Verizon uses iNDemand, so we can pretty much count on Verizon selling it for the $49.99 descibed in the link you provided.

FWIW, I just got off the phone with customer service, and the Official Line is that they still haven't reached a final agreement on pricing for the package. The CSR said we'd still have an opportunity to opt out once pricing was finalized, and now that we know what the price should be - and thanks for that link - the decision will be pretty straightforward.

Any idea on when this might happen? I got told by @verizonsupport on Twitter yesterday that the NHL CBA still hadn't been ratified (*laugh*) so they didn't know when this would be available. Hopefully this poor ignorant soul has since joined the world and cal be a bit more helpful, but I'm considering going with GameCenter Live since it doesn't look as if FiOS will have its act together in time.

I did a web chat with a rather useless person yesterday as well. They told me that there was no agreement in place. I linked him to InDemand's website where they clearly list the price and clearly list FiOS as a provider.
I then told him that if the price was not $49.99 as advertised then I'll be cancelling. I don't know why everyone else hsa their {word filter avoidance} together and FiOS doesn't. Comcast is ready to go. I feel like Verizon is being lazy because there's a free preview period. I fully expect Verizon to not be ready until January 30th

They suck. C.S. is nightmare. You go through a whole hogmosh just to get connected and than no affirmative answer as to when or if it will be offered. I wish I could judt get out of my present contract and dump the whole package.
