I left the Philadelphia area about 20 years ago. Every year I was hoping that my local cable company would carry the New Years day Mummers parade (no such luck). I am located in Northern Virginia and since I have FIOS installed I am hoping that Verizon will broadcast it on one of the many "empty" HD channels.
I usually see it covered on other major news channels, like Fox, NBC or ABC. Should be on one of those, or take a trip back to Philly and grab a cheesesteak and watch the parade!
