If Verizon Fios shows Ashes cricket this summer from the UK and shows the Indian Premier League along with the ICC matches I predict that Verizon will get a lot of subscribers - 1000s more before June 2009. Verizon is a wonderful service and high quality HD picture that it would be to watch these on large screen 46+ and more. Verizon should seriously consider adding this in May 2009 aas they can get the feed from Direct TV.
