I ordered it from them and it worked for me. I have a Panasonic 50" Plasma. The only other thing that worked before was to turn my screen brightness way down. I put the IR sensor end right under the bottom of my TV so that the remote has a direct line of sight to it. This fixed the issue right away.
I have the same issue with my LCD TV. The tape solution works great.
I did find that the tape only has to cover the upper left area where Message text (and the message light) appear. I wanted to still wanted to see the green "On" light.
