FiOS TV Technical Assistance

The message box reads as is: "CONFIRM EXIT You are about to exit this widget are you sure you want to exit? Cancel, Exit to DVR", This box is located at the middle of my screen and watching TV is almost unbearable to me. I tried clicking cancel and exit, but no buttons on my remote will clear the box, it seems to be frozen on my screen. I had this message box on my screen for at least 10 hrs now.

Reboot the STB.  There is an option in the STB main menu under Customer Support, In Home Agent, to reboot the STB.

This happens to me very frequently unfortunately. Never had this problem until about a couple of months ago. Sometimes it works just by clicking off the set box. But other times, i have to unplug the box from the power. Not sure why this happens. I have had verizon reboot and do diagnostics and such, but the issue continues on my dvr.

what is STB?  how do I get to that?

The STB is the Set Top Box, your DVR.
