Hi,
Can I watch programs recorded to my DVR over my computer? When I am traveling or at a location away from home?
Thanks!

Like he said, short answer is NO. If you real...y, real...y, real...y want to do that, you can buy for about 200 bucks an adapter to connect your DVR to your PC's USB port. Then you could watch or record anything coming out of the DVR using something like Windows Media Center. And then view it remotely using Windows Live Mesh. But I have tried that and without a blazing fast pc and connection, it's not much good.

A Slingbox would work, but I was alluding to a Hauppauge HD-PVR because I want to record to pc. Regardless of which method you use, you will still need a really fast internet connection, something not always available on the road. And a fairly fast pc. My old single core laptop doesnt play HD that well.
