Cisco CHS 435HDC dropping sound - HDMI

I understand that there is an advanced menu that will allow me to change the audio output settings and fix the sound problems I am having but I cannot seem to find it - sound drops and the only way to get it back is to turn the STB and TV off for 3-5 minutes. Any feedback on how I can navigate to this menu would be much appreciated. I have tried power off/OK/menu process as mentioned on another thread and that does not seem to work.
