FiOS TV Technical Assistance

This may be a silly question but I'm going to ask.

I am brand new to FiOS and I noticed that after viewing/deleting a recorded show on the DVR the DVR action menu (delete/save/etc) stays on until I choose an action. My previous carrier, the duration was 30 seconds and it would dissapear. As far as I know, FiOS menus stay on longer than I am use to and wanted to see if there were options.

Is there a way to edit the time the DVR action menu appears on-screen? I checked the settings up & down / back & forth and nothing seems to be the key.

Welcome to FIOS, and it is not a silly question as it takes a while to get to know all the quirks of a new system. Far as I know, most of the menus are not adjustable by the user. The recent update IMG1.9.1 does allow some adjustment to certain features like the information bar, but menus are preset. You can, however, quit any menu quickly by pressing the "exit" button on the remote.
