Tonight we were watching a show that had been recorder earlier that day. At about the 5 minute mark the recording skipped to the 24 minute mark. About 20 minutes of the show were just gone. We did not have a service interruption, I was watching another show while the recording was happening. When I hit pause on the recorded show it showed that had moved forward to the 25 minute mark, but I could not rewind. Anybody else having this issue, it happens once a month or so at most.
Hi Frisbies, I’m sorry you’re having trouble with your DVR. It sounds like it could possibly be an issue with the DVR’s operating software if the same problem has happened more than once. Before we try anything drastic with it, have you tried to power cycle the box yet? Just unplug the power to the box for a minute and then plug it back in. Allow it some time to boot back up and test it. If you still have problems from there, just post back and we can take a look.

Mine does the same thing. TRIED RESETTING, AND IT DOES NOT WORK.
