Hi rucknrun,
To be clear, you are saying that you ejected the eSATA drive, disconnected the eSATA drive, ran an auto-correct, attempted to delete the errant program listings, reconnected the eSATA drive, and the errant program listings still could not be erased?

It has been going on in our home for months, and I did everything noted (multiple times). However not only are there still MANY recordings with this message, but new deletes get the message every day.
It is so bad on two of our DVR's that close to half of the recordings in the lists are not there and present this message.
I even tried deleting through FiOS Mobile, but most of the time that does not connect or connects and only performs a few selected commands (I.e.: will list Scheduled Recordings, but not existing Recordings).
Any help with this (one of many) frustrating FiOS TV problems would be appreciated.

Did anyone ever get a solution? I have been having a similar problem since Jan 13. Everything I have deleted since that date shows back up whenever the box reboots. If I have done a basic delete of the program, the recording seems to come back playable and takes up capacity. I started deleting from the program list and then going into the deleted show history and doing a "delete from DVR". This seems to delete the actual recording so that it is no longer playable and doesn't use capacity but the title shows back up in the recording list if the box reboots. This only effects the DVR, not the eSata drive. Shows recorded on eSata delete fine and stay deleted, but the recording list for the main DVR keeps reverting back to what it looked like Jan 13. Thanks!
