FIOS installation tomorrow, do I need to drill holes?

Could someone please guide me?

I am getting FIOS installation tomorrow.

Do I need to drill a hole and snake a wire from the basement to where my computer is in advance of the installation?
Will the installer do this?
If not, how would they get the wire from the basement up to where the computer and present router is?

Thank you in advance,

I am guessing that the Verizon DSL modem gets fed by a phone wire, but I haven't had DSL in seven years so I could be wrong. But yes, they will run coax (cable TV wire) up there if it isn't already there. That is the connection the FiOS router uses; there isn't a separate modem like DSL or cable internet.

If you have a coax connection where your computer is (or where you want your router to be), then you're all set. If you don't, they will install one for you.

Sorry, I should have given more details.

Presently using Verizon DSL, there is a DSL wire (sorry about the terminology) going from the basement up to the computer.

I would not call this a coax connection, but I could be wrong.

So, the installer will actually fish wires up if necessary? I don't have to do anything in advance?
