So our FXX HD (since Aug) and SYFY HD (since april) have not worked in both rooms on HD set top boxes. We have tried the troubleshooting steps and reset the boxes. We have new boxes since both our boxes shorted out during a power outage. Our standard channels work fine. Anyone else have this issue and were you able to get it fixed?

Not seeing such problems. Which STB's are using?
Possibly bad COAX. Sometimes channels in the higher frequencies fail in such cases.

I am also leaning toward either a loose connection or bad splitter or coax somewhere. Since it is affecting both STBs the trouble is something both STBs share in common. Start looking near the ONT and work toward the STBs. If you can not find the problem call Verizon to dispatch out a technician.
