Favorites aren't being remembered right

I use the system menu to remove channels I don't want in the favorites list and they keep coming back!. The worst offender is the Arouse channel which I assume is smut. It's as if Verizon is trying to trick me into viewing pornography. Why can't Verzion get the code right for these STB's?

When you hit guide, what does it say in the upper right next to Filter? Does it say favorites or all channels?

IF you haven't before, go to menu/customer support/to support tools/Fix FIOS TV Issues.  Yours is so far the only report of this problem ive seen in the forums when you are displaying the Favorites list.  Some have reported it not staying on the Favorites list, but that's a different problem

I ran that tool before I even posted here. My problem remains. I remove items from the favorites list. They are gone for a while but return the next day or two.

It wouldn't be so bothersome but many of the channels Verizon adds to my favorites aren't channels I'm subscribed to.

I have this issue as well, and it is very frustrating. There are so many channels I don't subscribe or aren't interested in that are mixed in with the ones I care about. I have set my Favorites on a number of different occasions, both on the TV and online, and the system always ends up adding a lot of other channels that I did not select.
