I have been using the remote function without any issues for a year or more. Now when I press the remote icon, I get a message that no set top boxes available. In the menu "My Set Top boxes", I don't see my box and told I need to upgrade to DVR. I have the same HD box and the same Verizon router since the beginning, so this must be Verizon's way to squeeze every single dime out of their customers. I attempted to resolve this with Verizon rep, but after more than an hour of checking things and rebooting, he declared that I must upgrade to DVR.  Does anyone have this working with a regular HD box? He mentioned something to the effect that I could upgrade just the box, without the DVR service, which my cost the same, but I would have to speak with billing for another hour.
