Garage door wont open from far as it used to

Prior to the FIOS installation my garage door remote would activate the opener from a good distance away. Now I will have to be in front of the garage door for it to open. I have 2 remotes that I tried and my car is equipped with one and they all had the same outcome.  is there some kind of an interference that anyone knows about or is experiencing the same issue as me? Thank you!

Yes there is a known issue with 2 specific model garage door openers that are older types.  The problem is actually the garage door opener being out of spec, and thus susceptible to the interference.  The solution is to have the ONT/BBU installed on an outlet on a different circuit, this usually (not always) alleviates the issue.

try a chat session and see if they will dispatch a tech to go help you move that equipment so they don't interfere with one another, or call 888 553 1555
