Why would you put a button that is used all the time for viewing in HD to disable modes??? Where is the **bleep** common sense in that? There isn't any.. it was like the engineers stuck there head in a pile of crap when they thought of using this button for such a stupid command!
Secondly WHY would you think we want modes disabled so **bleep** easily? We'll have every family member turning it off not realizing what it does so than we have to go turn the subscribed channel mode back on every time..

This would be a perfect candidate for the Verizon Idea Exchange. Please search on the idea exchange and cast your vote. There may be another member who made the same suggestion.
