The search function within the guide on both of our boxes hasn't been working for a few days. What should we do?

Hi, you should be able to fix that problem by warm resetting your cable box.
go to your menu button > customer support > in home agent > stb auto correction (or reboot stb)
it will give you a warning saying are you sure, and you click yes I am sure, OK.
in rare cases, you will have to call the fios center and have them initialize the box again. 8885531555

There was a problem with Search over the weekend though.

that was the fix that they had told me about, they said most cases a warm reset would fix it, they on occasion had to do the full init or initialize command.

Luckily mine just came back on its own after time, but I think they was something going on.
