HDTV with no audio output

I am about to get FIOS.  I just bought an HDTV that has no audio output of any kind (just internal speaker). I understand from exploring on the internet that I can still get audio to an external sound system, but I'd like some help in figuring out how.  I will have (1) a blue-ray player, (2) a WII, (3) a DVR or Set-top Box, and (4) an OLD receiver with no optical/digital inputs connected to old, good speakers.  Thanks for any advice.

Re: HDTV with no audio output

Not knowing the TV model, STB/DVR, or AVR model kind of limits what advice can be given. But on what is known, it sounds like you will be stuck with standard L/R (red/white) audio cables. Here is a simplified diagram - I just assumed you might get a model 7216 DVR; it's fairly common and similar to other STBs:

If you would like to respond with more specifics regarding model numbers, I'm sure better advice can be forthcoming.
