It seems like a lot of people have been having issues getting the FiOS remote working with Insignia DVD Players. I just programmed my girlfriend's remote with her Insignia DVD player. I did the code search method and it did take me over 200 times to press the FF button before it actually did power off. It did some funky things like turn on different audio tracks at ~35 presses and did more funky things around 80 - 100 presses but just be patient and keep pressing FF and it should work. It does get mind numbing... Hope this help
