Is Verizon Internet needed to use In Home Agent?

We have fios tv and phone service but do not use Verizon internet. Do you have to have that for the In Home Agent to work properly? Thanks!

The computer version of the IHA I believe does need internet service. However there is an IHA for the TV already on the TV.

Press MENU   go down to CUSTOMER SUPPORT and press OK, You will see In Home Agent right there that will cover any of the needs for TV.

Just to clarify...we have internet service on the computer just not through Verizon. So if you have to be on the Verizon internet service to use IHA on the computer then I'm out of luck.

Yes for In Home agent to work, you need Verizon internet service.
It supports Verizon Routers (Westel and Actiontec), the Set Top Boxes and phone through the Verizon network
