Keep old Remote from an upgrade ?

When I upgraded my STB box, the Old remote has 2 more

devices (DVD & AUX) that I am using. Can I send back the

NEW 2 device only (TV & STB) remote in the UPS return box?

Verizon doesn't require the return of any remotes, so you can keep both of them.  no problem.   I have never had a remote control requested back from verizon
