Hi,
For information, I have FIOS 50/50, no phone, no TV package from Verizon.
I thought the local channels (Clear QAM) would be available via the coax cable for my modem. I tried plugging it in my HDTV and it couldn't find any channels. I tried plugging it to a USB TV tuner on my computer (compatible with Clear QAM) and it couldn't find any channels.
Was I wrong in thinking the local channels would be available? Or am I doing a technical mistake somewhere?

On data only no tv, they don't enable the tv port, so you don't get any of the locals.
Locals are only 12 bux so you might want to call in and order that if you want it, or get a nice HD attic antenna
*correction, last I heard they were 12 bux. 🙂
