Is there any way to get more capicity as currently low for HD recordings? If not are there any other options?
This has been discussed ad nauseum. There is no way to increase the Moto box storage. ESATA and USB are not enabled and the internals of the box are hard coded to use only 160 GB of drive no matter what size drive you put in.
Your only options are TIVO, MOXI, or a PC based cable card tuner.

Do you think Verizon will ever upgrade to capacity similar to U-Verse and Dish?
Verizon has said that they will be getting new STB this year with double the current recording capacity.
Now unofficially there have been rumors and hints that the new STB's will have access to external drives enabled so that the customer will be able to add all the recording capacity that they want. Of course this could be just wishful thinking. Only time will tell.
