I have an LG voyager cell phone and have downloaded application to control DVR. However, my STB does not have the option under settings that provides the authorization code needed to proceed with cell phone setup. Also, can I simply manage my dvr with computer and internet connection? Thanks

Contact tech support for the Web-Moblie-DVR... there may be something that needs to be enabled on Verizon's end for that

As far as using your PC to configure your DVR, Go to http://www.verizon.com/fiostvcentral and click on "My Set-top Boxes" and log in there to activate and use the Web-Remote DVR

I went to link and signed in and saw my set top boxes.  I then clicked TV listings, then left clicked mouse on specific program, but saw no option to record.  Wonder if it has something to do with the way I signed in because I don't use FIOS internet so I don't really have a verizon e-mail address.  I have fiber optic internet provided by community I live in.

Yeah not sure on that... seems like something needs to be enabled on Verizon's end... contact support when you are at home and have time to devote to this issue

While Remote DVR is available to all customers, Mobile Remote DVR (using it on a cell phone) requires you have the Home Media (Multiroom DVR / Media Manager / Whatever you wanna call it) Package.

Edit: Just noticed you said you tried the website with no option to record - this should be available to you. Ignore me!
