On the 6416 the user guide describes the ir port as:
IR – Enables QIP6xxx to control a VCR while recording a selected
program (not supported by all program guides)
On the 7200 the user guide simply describes it as:
IR remote input
My question is if the 7200 is actually an input or simply the same as on 6416.
Has anyone tried connecting the cable box to an IR receiver?
