I have a QIP 7216 1 DVR and want to upgrade but haven't been able to find the info I need. I think I read that it's possible with the new DVRs to have 2 DVRs in the house (able to record 4 chs at once) and have them read each other as well as have a STB in another room that can play from both DVRs. Is this accurate? and where can I find pricing on this?

I have 2 HD DVRs and pay $15.99 per month per box.  One is a 7216 P1 and the other is a Cisco.  You can record 4 things, 2 per box. You can watch one recording on each while recording 2 others. You cannot access On-Demand while recording 2 things at once.    Once you set up the 7216 as the home media DVR (if that is required still) you will be able to access the other box, and vice versa. When I first got the Cisco I thought it would be a dedicated DVR but it turned out that it can be accessed from other STBs after all.
