The new guide screen was made for blind people. I used to be able to check out a larger number of channels over a much longer period of time, 2 hours or more. Now I will have to go up and down like a pogo tick trying to scope out the night's TV offerings. You've now got 2 options for "all channels," both of which stink.
SURELY YOU CAN LEAVE THE OLD SET-UP AS AN OPTION.

These are peer to peer forums, you aren't talking to Verizon.
You may be seeing the SD version of the guide. Try Settings > Audio & Video > Video Settings > Graphics Settings > and change the setting from SD to HD if necessary.

I've changed it to the SD settings, but it still looks hideous! The text is still too small (though not as small as it was when it was in the HD setting) & the guide & EVERYTHING is not wide like it used to be. We used to have the silver STB box, but they had to reinstall FiOS & they gave us the "CHS" STB box. I hate the new guide. Please give us an option to go back to the old look.
