No Extreme HD......not even HD at all

We have a Samsung 46 inch Flat Screen that is supposed to get or be High Definition but since we have had FIOS it just is not HD at all. We have a Verizon repair guy coming soon and hope he or she can finally get this to work the way it is advertised to. We even got the new supposed faster Router and the Quantum upgrade to make it faster for the Internet but we haven't noticed any faster downloads or email to and fro at all. Hope this VZ person can make it all happen.

Explain how you are connected from STB to TV.

And what channel(s) are you watching.

I have great HD on my 40 and 55" Samsung.

You need to be connected with either HDMI or component cables. Both the TV and STB settings need to be adjusted for HD. Lastly  only the channels above 500 are in HD. Just because they are HD channels does not require the broadcasters to transmit in HD all of the time.
