Online TV Listings Incorrect, NO HELP FROM TECH SUPPORT

I noticed an issue in late July with the online tv listings and not being able to see my DVR.  I did the "chat" with a verizon rep and that was a wasted hour.  He said that "it would be turned over to their network people and fixed in 24 hours". I then called the 800 number 10 days later and was given a runaround until I spoke to a supervisor who was evasive about the issue and then told me that they have known about the issue prior to my "chat" session. Well THREE WEEKS later still no fix, I still get the listings for Dallas TX when I live and pay for Fios in NY.  Cannot connect to the DVR Remotly either, searching the fourm it seems that this has also occured to people in 2013.  I wonder if the Tech support people are going to get back to me or will I have to call again and give up more of my time. Just wondering, maybe time to look at other options for service, have been a Verizon, NYNEX, etc customer since 1984.

Hi kkdc,

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.

Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe". Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

Head over to dslreports.com and post your issue in the Verizon Direct forum where Verizzon reps are. They might be able to help you. It's a bit odd that you are getting listings for another state. I wonder if re-flashing everything to you would fix it or maybe their computers have an error on your account that needs fixing.

Thanks but I would have assumed that the Verizon Reps would actually be monitoring the fourms that are on thei rsite.

The Guide is not fixed.  The following channels are totally wrong

309 - One World Sport  (guide is comepletly bolloxed) - verified against web site.

806 - Willow - Descriptions gone

464 - GetTV - Guide is way out of whack.

Considering there is a hockey game I want to DVR on 309 tomorrow at 9 AM and the guide says "Cricket" (that was today BTW), recording is going to be a kludge.

Thanks!

I have exactly the same problem.  STB and DVR show the correct listings but when I log on to My Verizon and look at the TV listings they are for Dallas.  My location next to my logon name at the top of the My Verizon page shows the correct town.  Because of this I cannot use the My Verizon website to program my DVR.  The TV listings are also correct using the phone app, just not the My Verizon website.

Anyone find a fix for this?  I called tech support a while back and I could not make the rep understand what my problem was, he kept wanting to reboot the STB or DVR.  Finally said they would send the request to the network department but nothing ever happened or changed.

Frustrating!

I am trying to access the TV Guide on my computer using Google Chrome, my default web browser.  For some reason, it does not give me the TV channels in my area -- but instead is showing Dallas Texas channels.   In addition, it does not recognize that I have a DVR.

Is anyone else having these problems?
