Only one output on BOX QIP6416?

The verizon guy hooked my media center pc to my box. The picture is perfect. The problem is I don't have any sound.  The tv is using the outputs on the box.

How do I get the sound to work on my media center pc?

Sounds like you are using the old RCA jack audio (red and white) of which there is only a single output on the box.  The simplest solution is to buy a pair of RCA "Y" connectors which would allow you to split the analog audio to 2 outputs.

Something like THIS .

The "male" goes to the box and the cables to the TV and PC Media Center connect to the "females".

the box should have three audio outputs.

red and white for stereo

Digital Coax (your device has to have that plug)

or Optical audio (your device has to have that plug)

So what plug ins do you have on your device for audio, and which of the three audio outputs are open on the verizon cable box?
