Does FiOS support Picture In A Picture?

This probably belongs over in the TV category ...
The short answer is "no".
Very few channels on FiOS are carried in clear QAM and none are carried in NTSC analog like some cable systems still do (although increasingly, they are moving away from this as well to open up more bandwidth to carry additional HD content). The regular STB's are single tuner while the DVR's are dual tuner -- but no on-box picture in a picture is provided.

You need a 2-tuner set-top-box to support Picture in Picture. To my knowledge they are planning on offering them in the future. Here's some related discussions, but unfortnatley not really an option yet with FiOS.

I think it is time to start looking for another cable company. I am so into watching two different shows at one time and this is not going to work well with me with football starting up and racing going on. Verizon, come on now, I know you see this, lets get PIP going.....
