I watched 30 Rock on HD On Demand. There was some pixelation of the HD picture. The Standard Definition version of 30 Rock was fine, no pixelation. I have 2 TVs with boxes, one with a DVR & the other with an HD box only. Both TVs have pixelation of HD VOD shows. Live TV & the DVR are fine, outstanding picture quality. The only problem is with HD VOD shows. Does anyone know what may be causing this? Is this a common problem & should I call Verizon? I don't want to pay for a service call since I don't use On Demand all that much.
Hello mab57...a hard reset of your router should clear it up. Depress the reset button on the back of your router for 45secs. Get back to us with the status. Thanks for reaching out!
I depressed the reset button on my router. It is now definitely better. I still have occasional pixelation of HD On Demand shows. Before, it was pretty much a continuous problem. Now, it happens only occasionally, certainly not enough to even be an annoyance
