I have been having an issue whereas if I am taping a show, I cannot go back at all unless I go to the DVR and start playing the recording, then fast forward to what I wanted to replay. For example, I record two channels of Evening News (so I don't have to watch medical commercials or segments). But if I am taping and watching, when I try to rewind, it simply will not replay. I have 1.9, and a qip 7216 box. This never happened before the 1.9 update, and it happens consistently.
Has anyone else had this problem? It is not earth-shattering, but it is pretty annoying. What could be the reason for this? Taping two shows at once? I'm totally flummoxed by this, and I just cannot bring myself to call Verizon tech supposrt unless it is an absolute emergency--just too too frustrating. Waiting for all those box re-sets takes forever. Also my stb has been rebooted many times, but it does not affect this issue.
Am I the only person this is happening to? If so, maybe I do need a new stb.
