REMOTE DVR SET UP

Just a quick question...

Verizon installed FIOS TV and Internet today...

We have a DVR box...

We are curious how long it takes for Verizon to recognize us?

We were trying to set up remote DVR functions from computer and phones....

Anyone have any ideas?

it will take the website 24 to 48 hours to get access to the dvr, they need to map the ips and everything so you can access it.

the website the phones use may take a bit longer.

Hello bronowiczj ,

The website says it takes 24-48 hours to recognize you, but in actuality it takes far less than 24 hrs.  To verify if you have it yet On your main Home Media DVR go to Main Menu > Settings. If you see a listing for 'FiOS TV Remote DVR' under Settings that means you are enabled for Remote DVR.  When trying to activate remote dvr from your PC, all you need to do is log in to FiOS TV Central. If you are eligible for Remote DVR, you will be asked to activate Remote DVR service on your first login.    Hope this was helpful.
