Does Verizon Fios intend to compete with AT&T U-verse and upgrade the recording capability to include more than 2 shows at a time (and if so, when)? I often have to watch tv on one of the smaller televisions because I'm recording 2 shows on the main multi-media dvr in the living room.

I can't answer your question ... but how about moving the Home DVR to another TV instead that's not used as often? Record the two shows there and watch a third on the main TV. You can then watch the recorded shows via the IP home media connection later -- yes, I know you can't program/delete the shows in that manner from the main TV, but just looking for a way to solve your problem with the technology that's presently deployed.

I appreciate your suggestion, but I guess, instead of a 'work around', I'm really wondering if Verizon is going to offer a product that's as desirable to all us 'tv addicts' as AT&T currently offers (i.e., recording and watching more shows at once). . .
