STB fan noise

All of a sudden it sounds like a jet turbine has snuck inside my STB. I understand that these are devices with fans or hard drives but this is like an indoor leaf blower. Normal or time to ask for a replacement box?

If the fan is clogged try cleaning it. If you do not hear any improvement call Verizon to replace the STB because the bearings in the fan are no good.
