I have a set top box that keeps freezing intermittently. I have attempted to solve the provlem to the best of my abilities - but it still happens. Verizon replaced the STB (DVR) and it persisted. I then went through the taks of re-running the cable from the splitter to the STB, with brand new RG-6 cable and brand new F-compresssion connectors. I took extreme caution not to bend or crimp the cable. The problem is still there, just like it was before.
What else could this be?
