My self install date is tomorrow the 25 but I will have to do all of the outside wiring myself! Is this normal procedure that the customer has to open the ONT box and attach cables and splitters themselves?

When I had FIOS installed I insisted that they place the ONT box inside my garage which is attached to the house.
