Set top box clock

Does the set top box QIP7100 P2 have a channel display and clock like the others??

I don't know if the box is bad or there is no clock..

The quick answer to your question is no.

You didn't get a User Guide with the STB? Here is a link to the Verizon web page where you will find some information on that STB as well as a link to the User Guide:

Re: Set top box clock

WHY??? Why don't we get a clock on the hi-def boxes?
It's exasperating to rely on a clock on the cable box, then upgrade and have it taken away!

Re: Set top box clock

I completely agree! I have always had a clock displayed on the cable box.  Then to have it taken away, because Verizon decided it wanted to. I dont remember being asked if I would like the time removed from my Cable box.  If its to "save energy" why is it that I had to go out & buy an alarm clock(that Verizon should pay for) to plug in next to my Set Top Box, now doesn't that defeat the purpose?!

Re: Set top box clock

Motorola made the decision as part of making their STB's greener.
