Not sure if you're wanting help or just stating you have a blue screen. If you want help can you be a little more specific? Have you tried resetting the set top box? Checked all connections? Made sure the correct output is selected? etc?

Your TV has a bunch of plug ins on it.  Each one represents an input.  you can only watch one input at a time. If you have unused plugs on the back of your tv, then those inputs will say no signal when selected.

Use this as a general guide, It is general, as different tv manufacturers call different inputs different things.

Find your original TV remote (not the FiOS remote) and locate a button that is labeled as:

  • INPUT
  • SOURCE
  • MODE
  • TV/VIDEO

or something similiar.  If you can't find the original remote then you can look at the TV set itself for buttons on it.

The next thing, is that what input you will select is based on how the cable box is connected to the TV set.  If you look at the back of the TV set where you have it plugged in, it will be labeled what input you should select.  EXAMPLE, you have the cable box plugged into Video 1 on your TV, then you will change the input (with either the remote or your tv buttons) to Video 1

If you use

  • Coax = Channel 3
  • Red White and Yellow = AV 1 or Video 1 (2, 3, 4)
  • Component (red blue green) = Component 1, 2, 3, 4 etc...
  • HDMI = HDMI 1, 2, 3 etc....

So check and adjust your input selection, and also make sure the cable is plugged in securely at both ends, and that both devices are powered on.

If all else fails, Disconnect the power for the device for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in, or go to www.verizon.com/repair and do a reset to your equipment.  you have to log into your account to do that.
