Every 24 hours I get a message on my TV to upgrade the software, but I am unable to press ok, no matter what button the the remote or set box that I push. It disappears by itself after about a minute but I would like to update the software or just make the message disappears. Does anyone else have a solution for this?

This has to be a message from your TV itself. The Verizon boxes will never prompt a customer to upgrade software. Please reach out to your TV manufacturer.

Anthony -- you are incorrect. I get this message too and it is definitely coming from the FIOS receiver. I have been seeing this for almost two months now and can not press OK.

Try your TV remote.
As stated the verizon boxes don't ask if you want to update. The force it whether you want it or not.
