I just upgraded to the new VMS1100 multi-room dvr. Unlike my prior fios multi-room DVR the VMS1100 only sends an output signal to one connection. As a result my Slingbox is no longer working. Is it possible to have the VMS1100 configured to send signals out more than a single output? My TV is connected via HDMI and my Slingbox is connected via Component.

Unless you're using HDMI through an AV Receiver, just connect the VMS via component through the Slingbox and your problem is solved. And you could choose the optical or coax connection to the AV Receiver instead of the HDMI.

I just set up my new Quantum TV (VMS1100 server & client) and everything works great. But, my slingbox won't work...I get sound but no video. It's connected using the client, not the server, but the sound works so it seems like the video should work too. I'm using HDMI for the TV and component cables for the Slingbox. Any ideas? Does the Slingbox have to be connected to the Server?

I would connect the Slingbox inline between the STB and TV using componenet cables for the input and output. This should solve your issue.

Thanks! Is STB the same as the new VMS server box? (Will it even work with the client box?)

Lots of terms there. A DVR including the new VMS boxes is a STB. However the older Verizon STB's and DVR's will not work the VMS box. Only the new IP boxes work with the VMS box. And the IP boxes will not work without at least one VMS box. The previous STB did not have to have a DVR box in order to work.

Will a Slingbox work connected to a "client" box or does it have to be connected to the main "server"?

It should work on the client. It has component connectors and an infrared eye.

I have it connected to the client using the component cable. I get sound but no picture. It says no video input. Any ideas?

Do you have a TV connected to box as well?
Couple of things to try:
1) Can you connect TV via component to see if it works?
2) If that works (or if TV doesn't have component inout) try disconnecting TV from box and see if it works.
