VOD error VOD_212

[DCDD]

Tonight I tried watching some programs on VOD and I receive the following error when I try to access one of the episodes:

"Your selection is not available please make another selection. [Vod_212]"

I tried a few different programs like Revenge and American Idol and I get the same error. I am trying to access the HD version of the program and I did try the standard verison with the same results. Also it only seems to be effecting the most recent episodes. I tried and older episode of Revenge and it worked. One last thing I did try rebotting the box but no good.

Is anyone else having this problem? I'm located in FL. Does anyone from Verizon have a statement on the outage or a time when it will be back up?

I'm so tired of calling tech support (who provide none). It's the crappy service FIOS is now providing. I was basically told that they are doing maintenance work which seems to occur everyday and there's nothing you can do about it. LOL, the tech guy told me that VOD is a free service and basically they don't have to provide it. I'm dropping FIOS as soon as TWC work out their issues with MSG. I'm tired of being treated like crap when I pay good money for service that I don't get.

Thanks Pharze. I checked again this morning and it looks like they just removed the episodes that were not working. Also I have to say that this is the first time that I have had a problem with Verizon FIOS so maybe I have been lucky. Thanks agin for your reply.

I had a similar experience the other night, although my message was "VOD- 126 error". I tried several different programs to no avail. I went into the DVR menu and performed an auto-correct routine without much hope for success. To my surprise, it worked! I was then able to access the VOD I wanted to watch. YMMV. But that's the first thing I'll do if I get another VOD error message. Good luck.
