I've been having volume problems on a specific channel. The background music/laugh track/etc. is so loud that I can not hear the actors speaking.
Happens on both HD and normal boxes. I've rebooted receivers. Does not happen on any other channel.
Any ideas?
Channel in question CWDC: 506 HD, 6 regular
Of course the one show I watch on this channel is not available on demand.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

I've seen that a lot, especially on local channels like yours. It might go away after the station gets enough complaints to check into it. I use a 5 channel home theater setup to minimize such imbalances. With a setup like that you can adjust the front/rear/center channels separately. Most of the dialog comes through the center channel, and most of the rest through the front channels. Check your tv manual to see if there is any adjustment to change the balance of center to front sound. It's not likely, but other than that ... you could call the station and complain.

Edit:
The channel is not 506/6, but 503 HD and 3 regular.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'll definitely call the station. I have a home theater set up, but rarely use it. I'll see if I can get that to work.
