I went to my local verizon store, called verizon, went online and everyone is telling me they are unable to swap me from cisco to motorola dvr why is this? I called billing, tech support, verizon's fios techs, the tech who installed services, supervisor and verizon.com telephone support. None wanted to allow me to do this? Why??? I can't do it online gives me error saying to call up verizon.

Do you have other boxes besides the the DVR? There is a requirement that ALL boxes must be either Moto or Cisco - can't be mixed (something to do with the IMG platform differences and not being able to support both manufacturers in the same account).
Typically once you are on one platform it is difficult (if not near impossible) to swap to the other platform. Would require some assistance from other than level 1 support or billing - if at all doable.
