When i connected my eSATA 300GB drive, the box recognized it right away. Everything worked as per instructions. The status showed the drive had 100% free space. Shows appeared to record on the hard drive. However, upon playback they show 0%.
Any idea what's going on?

That's not normal. It shouldn't record to the internal hard drive until the external drive is maxed. Have you reformatted the drive so the box can recognize it? You can also try the auto correction. Press menu, then go to CUSTOMER SUPPORT, then IN HOME AGENT, then SET TOP BOX AUTO CORRECTION. Please let us know if further assistance is required.

I just used this method to correct my hard drive issue and it worked great. I wonder why the Technician that I talked to earlier today didn't tell me to do this?
