hd dvr bx hdmi issue

i have had issue with hdmi . i have hd dvr box. When i change the channel from hd to standard the screen froze or snow  i called the fios technician he recommend i connect an component cable . thanks for help

Have your tried turning the SD Override to "off?"

thanks. i found another way to fix it.i changed to sd override to stretch it works fine now i can change channel from sd to hd with no issue no froze screen. tks for idea
